Myke Todd was born on a military base as part of a secret government program( which technically makes him an international man of mystery) and raised in Texas, which explains almost everything else. He started playing guitar at age five—mostly because nobody told him he couldn't—and then, for reasons still unclear, decided to get really good at it. Music school. Symphony orchestras. All the fancy training that would look extremely impressive on a resumé if he could write one.

But classical discipline could only contain him for so long. He started skateboarding, joined punk bands, and developed a healthy allergy to authority. Then things got weird in the best way: he toured with bigger bands, lived with shamans, and became a psychonaut, which is a very polite way of saying he spent a lot of time staring at walls and thinking, "Whoa."

Somewhere in there he went to college, won actual awards as a barista—because apparently he can also make a perfect pour-over under pressure—and then briefly became an action hero through various agencies. Think less "Hollywood stunt double" and more "guy you definitely want nearby if something goes sideways."

Through it all, the guitar stayed. MT's music sounds like someone who has been classically trained, punk-rock tested, spiritually questioned, and mildly over-caffeinated. It's precise, unpredictable, and probably a little louder than necessary.
